Canadian converter Flexia Corp., Brantford, Ont., retrofits its 6-color CI-flexo press from Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corp., Lincoln, R.I., with a new PRODOFlex® Plus enclosed chamber system with fully automatic washup from Flexo Inking Technologies. The AUTOFlex system, from the Sellersville, Pa., supplier, incorporates floodwash-based automation designed for the pressroom that does not require the highest level of on-press, deep-cell cleaning that the co.'s nozzlewash chambers deliver.

Wisconsin-based Menasha Packaging Co., signs a letter of intent Nov. 14 to implement VantagePoint Systems, Inc.'s line of enterprise business software throughout Menasha's operations. Currently, Menasha operates 21 plants in the U.S. Preliminary project work will begin immediately and the implementation in Menasha's existing plants is scheduled for completion early in 2003.
