The Opal automatic turret rewinder is equipped with a full edge guiding system and is supplied with flange-mounted pneumatic shafts to accommodate 1, 2 and 3 in. cores. This machine is fitted with coreless and automatic cinch attachment to core at speed. The turret rewinder is provided with an accumulator and the ability to automatically transfer the web from one turret to the other. Automatic cross cut, after pre-determined length control, is an additional feature.

This system offers the slitter dust capture system to provide cleaner material, reduce machine clean-up time, and curtail dust in machine parts. Each system or hood is located 1/16 in. from the slitter knife. With the high vacuum achieved at that point, the ambient dust is vacuumed into the source capture hood.

The RPL high-speed roll-processing line can be integrated with many existing slitter/rewinders and converting plant layouts. The unit can process up to 135 small rolls/min.
