PRINT 01 exhibitors to help Ronald McDonald House
Staff -- Converting Magazine, 9/1/2001
Three companies in the graphic finishing industry are helping the Ronald McDonald House Charities during the PRINT® 01 show Sept. 6-13 at Chicago's McCormick Place. Hot-stamp foil manufacturer API Foils; Universal Engraving, Inc., maker of engraved foil stamping and embossing dies and engraving equipment; and Steuer GmbH, manufacturer of printing and finishing presses, have teamed up to produce pop-tab collection boxes to benefit the charity.
"We've taken this opportunity to redesign the collection boxes to attract renewed attention to the program for Ronald McDonald House Charities. The additional attention drawn to the boxes through the addition of foil will enhance awareness and participation for the program," says Nicole Mercer, Universal Engraving's marketing director.
The redesigned boxes will be printed in Germany, and Steuer will be foiling and embossing them as an equipment demonstration at its PRINT 01 booth. Flat stamping and Unifraxion engraved dies are being provided by Universal Engraving, and foil has been donated by API Foils.
