Erlanger, Ky.-based Queen City Paper recently added greater production capacity to meet increased demand for its converted and specialty papers, paperboard and matboard products. New equipment includes a sheeter, slitter and cutter to assist the company's contract-converting business, which has grown from one production crew to three shifts in the past year. "The new equipment and personnel give us greater flexibility and new efficiencies to meet the needs of our customers," says operations mgr. Lisa Powell.
