Converters Ampac Acquisition Corp. and Printmasters Acquisition Corp. say August 7 they will sell flexible-packaging operations in Albertville, Ala. Both companies previously filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in April 2001.

Ampac, maker of printed and un-printed wicketed bags for poultry, produce and consumer goods, reported sales of $13.3 million for the year ended March 31, 2001. Printmasters, with fiscal year revenue of $15.5 million, produces 6- and 8-color line- and process-printed flat-pack and wicketed bags and pouches for the lawn/garden, food and consumer goods industries.
