InPrint™ views any web application and is the most compact and economical unit ever offered by the co. It was originally designed to fit narrow webs as small as 3 in., but is equally efficient and reliable when viewing wide webs.

For longer tubing life

The COR-LOK® airshafts and chucks feature a freshly engineered tubing design contoured to match the geometry of the co.'s spiraled shaft body. Compared to previous designs, the economical tubing allows increased gripping power, a longer tubing life and easy replacement, says the co.

Synchro-deck offers "gearless" operation

The new Emerald 107.4M, a high-technology, mid-web flexographic printing press, is engineered to meet the most demanding requirements. With its Synchro-deck "gearless" operation, the system offers a 10-color CI-flexo platform built to provide performance normally available only on larger-width machines. Components include new color group and pneymatic controls, 4-motor deck prepositioning, sleeve-type plate cylinders and anilox rolls, an automatic sleeve-change system and FPR Free Printing Repeat "gearless" technology. Speeds of up to 350 m/min (1,060 fpm) are possible. The system on display at the recent Converflex Europe fair will be delivered to a Canadian customer.

For label printers

The Model 400 Combination Press offers label printers the combination of waterless rotary offset printing capability inline with letterpress, screen and flexo printing. The machine lets users add the quality result of offset printing into their combination printing while eliminating VOC emissions.

For lower slitter/rewinder tensions

A differential rewind accommodates lower slitter/rewinder rewind tensions. It suits applications with very low to moderately high tension requirements, such as films, papers and laminates. The new mandrels are options on any of the co.'s slitter/rewinders and can be retrofitted on existing machines.

For industrial loads

The SUPB tension transducer with extra-robust performance characteristics replaces the co.'s standard UPBV-style transducers in high-load applications. It measures process web tension accurately in winding and converting applications.

For Fasson®-brand materials

Email invoicing for Fasson®-brand materials eliminates the searching and delays associated with faxed invoices. Crisp-looking, legible invoices are delivered directly to the desktop at the click of a button. Converters receive invoices directly in their email system, eliminating delays and avoiding clutter on their desks.

For a 60% productivity boost

POWERBEAM is third-generation optics for the co.'s Cyrel™ Digital Imager for computer-to-plate or sleeve-digital flexo imaging. The product images plates or sleeves at up to 6,200 in²/hr on Cyrel or other digital-flexo plates, and independent from plate thickness.

For 8 or more slits

Quill set technology provides clean, accurate web slit widths from 0.020 to 0.200 in. With precision manufacturing, knife thickness held to 40 millionths of an in., allow for 8 or more slits to be cut simultaneously.

For labels

Rotary Label Plus inks are now offered to combination printers for the package and product label markets. The inks work well with other inks including other rotary screen and flexo inks.
