Plastics USA 2001, set for Oct. 2-4 at Chicago's McCormick Place, promises to be a comprehensive showcase of machinery and process technology. Sponsored by The Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc., the event is intended to fill the industry's information gap in advance of the next NPE show in 2003.

Filling about 120,000 sq ft of exhibit space, some 500 suppliers will display machinery, auxiliary equipment, components, materials, tools and dies, robotics and software. Attendance of approximately 15,000 plastics professionals is expected.

Professional seminars from the Society of Plastics Engineers, and a Technology Management Conference sponsored by Injection Molding Magazine, will round out the event.
