"Holo-pack/Holo-print 2001—Connections for The Future," scheduled for November 14-16 at the Hyatt Regency Miami, aims to provide a holographic education for a whole new generation of users, according to conference organizers Reconnaissance Intl. and Pira Intl.
Kicking off the event will be a special user workshop Nov. 14, entitled "Holographic Packaging: Effective Design & Manufacturing," co-sponsored by Converting and Graphic Design USA. Its purpose is to provide specific tips and techniques for using holography in a wide variety of product packaging.
This year's conference, on Nov. 15-16, will focus on the holographic industry's efforts to make strategic connections with suppliers, equipment manufacturers, designers, converters, the financial community and the media. Speakers will present the latest case studies illustrating holography's new markets.
On Nov. 15, Holography News and the Intl. Hologram Mfrs. Assn. (IHMA) will again recognize the year's outstanding holographic projects at the Awards for Excellence Dinner.
