2009 Sustainability Award winner Next Generation Films orders its fifth W&H coex-film line.

A W&H VAREX coex-film line will be installed at Next Generation Films by this summer.Windmoeller & Hoelscher Corporation is pleased to announce the sale of a 3-layer VAREX® co-extrusion line to Next Generation Films of Lexington, OH. This order marks the fifth W&H blown-film line at Next and the second W&H line ordered by the company in the past nine months.

This new high-output, 134-in. VAREX line with grooved feed extruders (105.30/135.30/105.30D), a 35-in. OPTIFIL® P2 die, and FILMATIC® T dual turret winder is scheduled to begin production in late summer 2010. Based on Next's resin recipes, the line is expected to reach an output level of 20 million lbs/yr.
Next Generation Films, Inc. was founded in 1994 and is a supplier of specialty films to a variety of markets, including food packaging, automobile, courier, manufactured housing and protective packaging segments.
