Third “uv days” at IST Metz welcomes 700 attendees

UV-systems manufacturer IST METZ (www.ist-uv.com) welcomed almost 700 visitors to its headquarters last month for the company's third “UV Days” event.
Consisting of an in-house exhibition, two workshops and a tour of the production facilities, the “UV Days” provided opportunities for attendees to learn about UV technology as well as to compare experiences and develop contacts within the converting and printing industries. In addition to a large number of visitors from Western Europe, there were also numerous attendees from the US, Asia and Eastern Europe.
With 27 partner companies participating, the exhibition area was full to capacity. These partners covered a broad spectrum of subjects: consumables such as inks, varnishes, adhesives, blankets and chemicals, in addition to substrates such as paper and films. Other exhibitors covered ancillary areas: neutralization of electrostatic charges, monitoring and inspection equipment, cooling and temperature control systems as well as diecutting and anilox rolls.
