Polytype Switzerland, Pagendarm Germany, ALCAT Italy join forces

Converting-machinery makers Polytype Converting, Ltd., Pagendarm BTT GmbH and ALCAT Srl join forces to design, build and install machinery for the web-coating and laminating industry.
Based in Switzerland, Germany and Italy, the three companies will offer converting equipment for paper, film, and foil substrates, supplying a full range of equipment from single-machine retrofits to complete, turnkey coating-line installations. The experienced and specialized staff ensures future-oriented engineering to fulfill the customer's production and environmental expectations, the suppliers say. Among the products: Turnkey coating and laminating lines, unwinds, rewinds, coaters, dryers, laminators and special executions.
Polytype has also a partnership with Battenfeld Gloucester Engineering USA to manufacture custom extrusion coating and laminating lines with the latest web-handling and extrusion technology.
