Hydraulic roll handler

For narrow-web rolls up to 1,000 lbs
The new economical HRH-1000-PRP hydraulic roll handler can move rolls of paper, film and foil up to 1,000 lbs, with widths up to 16 in. Said to be ideal for loading and unloading label presses, doctor machines, diecutters, laser printers and other narrow-web machinery, the HRH-1000 is lightweight and easy to manuever fully loaded. Its roller probe makes it simple to transfer rolls from the lifter to unwinds or rewinds, even at floor level. Special shaft couplings are available to make alignment with the unwind or rewind easier.

Load cells
Handles live shaft rollers
Co.'s T-Series live shaft load cells are designed to handle live shaft rollers and can be used to retrofit existing machines or in the design of new ones. The load cells offer a wide range of load
ratings and sizes, and can be mounted with a standard-, flange- or split pillow block-mount. The series uses a high-performance, spherical bearing assembly which allows for misalignment, roller deflection and changes in roller length due to temperature variations.

Lidding films
Solvent-free
Co.'s solvent-free polyester lidding film, LumiLid®, is environmentally-friendly and FDA-compliant
for frozen and refrigerated foods applications. Its extrusion-coating technology does not require organic solvents, ensuring that the film produces no odorous or potentially-harmful solvents in the films. This process also eliminates volatile organic compounds. Transparent LumiLid seals cleanly and securely, even on pleated corners, to APET and APET-coated board, CPET, PP, HDPE and HIPS.

Embossing Braille

For pharmaceutical carton packaging
Co.'s new AccuBraille module allows carton converters to Braille-emboss on the folder/gluer for pharmaceutical packaging requiring name and medicine dosage to be placed in Braille. The AccuBraille tool is flexible enough to allow the dots to be placed at 0.11811 in. from a cut, scored or perforated edge. The embossed dots can have a height of 0.00945 in.

Rotary diecutting module
Also does creasing, punching
Co.'s new machine technology for in-line diecutting, creasing or punching paperboard and films is available in section or module designs with variable repeat. Ideal for processing paperboard or board and film/foil laminates for rigid containers, it can accommodate web widths up to 80 in. at
servo-driven speeds up to 2,000 fpm. Special selected bearing applications and electronic components allow for micrometric-depth adjustments and guarantee that the set parameters are maintained. This allows for partially controlled depth cutting for “easy open” features, even in thin-gauge film.
